Former Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Mayor Dhanasiri Amaratunga has arrived at the Central Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) to provide a statement.

He is being questioned in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged large-scale drug trafficker Shiran Basik, who is currently in CCIB custody.
