The Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) has decided not to attend the joint opposition rally scheduled for 21 November in Nugegoda.
TPA Leader, Member of Parliament Mano Ganesan, confirmed that while the TPA supports the initiative against the government, it will not be present at the event.
The rally marks the launch of a joint campaign by several opposition parties, including the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), and the United National Party (UNP).
The campaign will focus on issues of governance, corruption, and oppression.
The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) also previously announced they would not attend.
