The Consumer Affairs Authority has seized vehicle spare parts and lubricating oil worth nearly Rs. 5 million during a raid on a shop along the Kadawatha–Ganemulla Road.

CAA officers found alleged violations including the sale and storage of products contrary to consumer protection orders and failure to display prices.

The seized items were sealed and samples collected for examination. Further investigations are underway, with legal action expected against those responsible.
