A special traffic plan will be in place today (19) for the National War Heroes’ Commemoration Ceremony in Battaramulla.

The event will be held at the Parliamentary Grounds under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Traffic restrictions will be enforced on Parliament Road from Polduwa Junction to Keangnam Junction from 3.30 pm until the event concludes.

Police have announced alternative routes via Battaramulla, Palanthuna and Keangnam, and designated parking areas for buses and trucks along Japan Sri Lanka Friendship Road.
