Sri Lanka has recorded 77 dengue-related deaths so far this year, while the total number of reported cases has reached 99,634, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.

The Western Province accounts for 52,340 cases, or 52.53% of the total.

Gampaha has recorded the highest number of cases at 21,136, followed by Colombo with 19,569.

The highest monthly total was recorded in July, with 29,964 cases.
