The ‘Ruhunu Kumari’ train derailed at Ginthota station, leading to schedule adjustments.

 The ‘Samudra Devi’ now starts from Dodanduwa, ‘Sagarika’ from Boossa, and ‘Nayana Kumari’ from Hikkaduwa, all departing at regular times. 

The Railway Department noted delays for the ‘Galle Kumari’ and Night Mail trains. 

The engine has been rerailed, but normal operations may take hours to resume.
