The Department of Meteorology has forecast showers at times in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts tomorrow (11).

Showers or thundershowers may occur in parts of the Uva and Eastern provinces and Mullaitivu District after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly strong winds of 30–40 km/h are also expected at times in the North Central, North Western, Central and Southern provinces and Trincomalee District. The public has been advised to take precautions against strong winds and lightning
