The Department of Meteorology has warned naval and fishing communities of rough seas and strong winds up to 60 kmph from Chilaw to Mannar and Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota, effective until 9:00 AM tomorrow (14).

Wave heights may reach 2.5–3.0 meters, with possible coastal surges from Puttalam to Pottuvil.
