LG Electronics (LG), together with its Sri Lankan national distributor Abans, has announced the appointment of Sri Lankan international cricketer Pathum Nissanka as its brand ambassador.

The partnership was formally announced at an event held at the Courtyard by Marriott on 31 December 2025.

Under the agreement, Nissanka will represent LG’s global brand message, “Life’s Good,” in Sri Lanka.

Nissanka is a member of Sri Lanka’s national cricket team and has recorded several notable milestones in international cricket. His achievements include scoring a century on his Test debut and becoming the first Sri Lankan to score a double century in One Day International cricket in February 2024.

His career also includes appearances in major international tournaments, high positions in ICC rankings, and recognition such as the Player of the Match award at the 2025 Asia Cup.
