A decision has been made to establish comprehensive guidelines aimed at facilitating a safe and effective digital education environment for students.

Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, Madhura Senevirathna, announced that Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya, in her capacity as the subject minister, discussed this initiative with members of the Digital Task Force.

The Deputy Minister stated that during the discussions, several recommendations were put forward, focusing on various factors that need to be considered across digital education platforms to ensure safety and quality in online learning.
