Organised crime figure and alleged drug trafficker Lalith Kannangara, also known as ‘Bus Lalith’, has been taken to the Central Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) for further investigations.

Kannangara, who was arrested in Dubai, was brought to Sri Lanka this morning (25) on a SriLankan Airlines flight from Dubai.

CID officers recorded his statement before he was taken to the CCIB under tight security.
