Sri Lanka’s expressway network generated Rs. 124.57 million in revenue from 325,316 vehicles during the holidays on 26 and 27 August according to the Road Development Authority (RDA).

On 26 August, 163,763 vehicles used the expressways, generating Rs. 60.41 million, while 161,553 vehicles travelled on 27 August generating Rs. 64.16 million.

The highest traffic volumes were recorded on the Southern Expressway (E01) and Outer Circular Expressway (E02).
