The luxury cruise ship “Mein Schiff 6” has made its maiden call at the Colombo Port carrying 2,380 tourists.

According to the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation, the vessel sailing under the Maltese flag also has 951 crew members on board.

The ship docked at the East Container Terminal and marks its first-ever visit to Sri Lanka.

Tourists arriving on the vessel were welcomed with cultural performances organised by local tourism agencies.
