Minister of Fisheries Ramalingam Chandrasekar announced that a feasibility study is being conducted for a tourism development project to connect Neduntheevu and Katchatheevu.

The Minister made the statement during an observation visit to Katchatheevu with the President.

He also noted that discussions were held with the Navy regarding the safety of local fishermen operating in the area and the challenges they face, as well as upcoming development initiatives.

The project aims to boost tourism in the region by extending the existing tourism activities from Neduntheevu.
