The Sri Lanka Police has announced a special traffic plan for the upcoming cricket matches featuring the England Cricket Team at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. 

The plan will be in effect on January 22, 24, and 27, 2026.

On match days, drivers and the public using roads around the stadium are advised to take alternative routes from 12:00 noon until the match concludes to ease traffic congestion. 

The affected roads include Pradeepa Mawatha, Saddharma Mawatha, Jayantha Weerasekara Mawatha, Temple Road (Khettarama Mawatha), 100 Feet Road, Bodhiraja Mawatha, Vincent Perera Mawatha, and Dr. Britto Babapulle Place.

The Sri Lanka Police clarified that there will be no road closures or restrictions, and normal traffic flow will be maintained on these roads.
