The State of Public Emergency in Sri Lanka has been extended by one month, according to a gazette issued by Dr. N.S. Kumanayake.


The extension follows the impact of Cyclone Ditwah and aims to ensure public safety and essential services.


Services including electricity, fuel, healthcare and transport will continue under essential services regulations.
