The Sri Lanka Navy has seized a vessel carrying suspected narcotic drugs during an operation at Kusumanthurai Beach in Madagal, Jaffna, early this morning (27).

One suspect was arrested, while the vessel suspected of being used for drug trafficking was taken into Navy custody.

Further investigations into the seized consignment are underway.
