The info-National Disaster Relief Services Centre (NDRSC) Disaster Data System online platform was launched at the Disaster Management Centre in Colombo. This new facility will enable digitalising the present routine process of collecting and releasing statistical data on families affected and properties damaged by natural disasters. 

The system is developed in line with the National Statistics Development Programme of the Department of Census and Statistics, in line with data and information standardisation and verification methodologies, and will facilitate data entry through all Grama Niladhari Division levels.
