UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy will make a brief official visit to Sri Lanka tomorrow (17), holding high-level meetings with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath. 

He will sign an agreement on the Charter for the Global Campaign on Children’s Care and participate in a related event at the UN office in Colombo. 

The campaign advocates for children’s rights, family support, and the elimination of harmful practices. 

Lammy will depart Sri Lanka on tomorrow (16) evening after his engagements.
