The General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS), Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara, visited Trincomalee today (18) amid heightened tensions following the removal of a Buddha statue.

During his visit, Ven. Gnanasara strongly criticised police action.

He alleged that officials had disrespected Buddhism.
