Member of Parliament (MP) Ramanathan Archchuna was removed from the Parliamentary Chamber today (8) for repeatedly disrupting proceedings.

He was escorted out after ignoring multiple warnings from the presiding member during a heated debate on proposed amendments to the Customs Ordinance.

The incident briefly interrupted the session as tensions flared among members.

Parliament resumed its proceedings shortly after Archchuna’s removal.
