Sri Lanka’s year-on-year inflation, measured by the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI), remained unchanged at 2.1% in December 2025, according to the Department of Census and Statistics.

The CCPI rose to 195.8, up 2.4 index points from November. Food inflation stayed at 2.1%, while non-food inflation increased slightly to 1.8%. 

Food items contributed 0.97% and non-food items 1.18% to overall inflation.
