The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has warned the public about a fraudulent website misusing its name, logo and photographs to promote fake employment opportunities in Israel and collect personal information.

The website reportedly requests details including full name, date of birth, NIC number, gender and mobile number through an online form.

The SLBFE has advised the public not to provide personal information through such links or unverified forms.

The bureau has lodged a complaint with SLCERT, while further action is underway.
