Isipathana College Colombo edged past Trinity College Kandy in a tense 12-09 battle to claim the 2025 President’s Trophy Inter-Schools Knock-Out Rugby Tournament title.

Trailing 09-07 in the dying minutes, Isipathana staged a thrilling comeback with an injury-time try to snatch victory and secure their 15th title in the tournament’s history.

The Greens led narrowly 07-06 at halftime, but Trinity clawed back to lead before Isipathana’s late heroics.

A pulsating final at the Royal Complex ended in celebration for Isipathana, whose supporters erupted as their team finished the season on a high.
