The Indian oil tanker Hari Anand arrived at the Dolphin Jetty of Colombo Port at 1:30 PM yesterday (29).

According to the Ministry of Ports, the vessel carried a total consignment of 36,000 metric tonnes of fuel, consisting of 18,000 MT of diesel and 18,000 MT of Octane 92 petrol. 

The ministry also stated that the transfer of the shipment to the Kolonnawa fuel storage complex began shortly after the vessel’s arrival, ensuring a swift process to bolster the country’s fuel reserves amid ongoing supply concerns.
