This position is one place lower than its 2024 ranking.
Sri Lanka now shares the 97th spot with Iran.
The country's latest ranking reverses its earlier progress this year when it climbed to 91st place.
The Henley Passport Index, which ranks global travel freedom, continues to list Singapore as the world's most powerful passport, while the U.S. passport has fallen to its lowest-ever position at 12th place.
