An audit committee will investigate alleged financial irregularities at 10 Divisional Secretariat offices in Nuwara Eliya District, covering the period from 2023 to 2026.

The committee will examine alleged fraud involving Aswesuma payments at the Norwood and Talawakelle Divisional Secretariats.

It will also review the distribution of Cyclone Ditwah relief, Samurdhi allowances and subsidies, and payments to senior citizens.
