The Government is considering allocating funds in the 2027 Budget to complete around 5,000 stalled housing projects across Sri Lanka, Housing Minister Susil Ranasinghe stated.

A five-member committee is reviewing the projects and will recommend those that can be revived.

The Government also plans to support nearly 2,000 families unable to complete partially built homes.
