The Sri Lanka–France Business Council (SLFBC) , in partnership with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) , announced that French rugby star Serge Betsen will tour Sri Lanka for five days in November 2025. 

The program will feature tourism promotion events, rugby coaching camps for youth, and cultural exchanges blending French sport and fashion, aimed at boosting tourism and strengthening Sri Lanka–France relations.
