Popular actress Semini Iddamalgoda has been arrested by the Welikada Police over 7 outstanding warrants related to financial fraud cases.

The warrants were issued by courts in Tangalle, Matara, and Colombo, police confirmed.

She was taken into custody last evening (10) and is scheduled to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate today (11).

Investigations into the pending cases are ongoing.
