Senior Geologist Wasantha Senadheera of the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued a warning to motorists and pedestrians using roads that were impacted by landslides during Cyclone Ditwah. 

He advised everyone to exercise extreme caution, as ongoing rains pose a risk of earth embankments collapsing onto these roads, potentially causing accidents and hazards.
