Several private bus operators have suspended services today (23) pending a fare revision.

Long queues were reported at major bus terminals during morning peak hours.

Bus associations noted that services were withdrawn due to delays in revising fares following the recent fuel price increase.

The National Transport Commission stated that a Cabinet paper on the fare revision will be submitted today.

Bus unions stated they will resume operations after the new fares are officially announced.
