Samudika Jayarathna, Sri Lanka’s newly appointed Auditor General, took the oath of secrecy before Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne in Parliament today(05).

She became the 42nd Auditor General and the first woman to hold the position, serving also as Chairperson of the Audit Service Commission.

Officials present included Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera.
