The Leonids meteor shower will be visible in Sri Lanka tonight (17) and early tomorrow morning (18), astronomers announced. 

The spectacular display can be seen with the naked eye, requiring no special equipment, according to Senior Lecturer in Astronomy Gihan Weerasekara.
