The death toll from the ongoing adverse weather conditions in Sri Lanka has tragically risen to 132, according to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).

Authorities also confirmed that a significant number of individuals remain unaccounted for, with 171 people currently reported as missing.

The figures highlight the devastating impact of the floods and landslides that have affected the country. 

Rescue and relief operations continue across multiple districts as officials attempt to locate the missing and provide assistance to those displaced by the disaster.
