A special Public Day programme was held on 16 September at the Deputy Minister of Defence’s office in Colombo to address concerns and grievances of retired Tri-Forces personnel and their families.

Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) personally heard the issues raised and instructed officials to take necessary action.

Representatives from the Department of Pensions, Tri-Forces, Ranaviru Seva Authority and Ministry of Defence also participated in the programme.
