Indian film superstar Hrithik Roshan will visit Sri Lanka on 2 August to attend the grand inauguration of City of Dreams Sri Lanka, South Asia’s first integrated resort.

The project, by John Keells Holdings, marks the largest private sector investment in Sri Lanka’s luxury hospitality sector, valued at over $1.2 billion. 

Located in Colombo, the resort includes the ultra-luxury Nüwa Hotel and a world-class shopping complex.

Meanwhile, actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was initially expected to attend the event, has cancelled his visit due to personal reasons.
