Former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera surrendered to the Mahara Magistrate’s Court (MC) after evading arrest over an illegal property sale case.

The court had previously issued a warrant for his arrest over allegedly selling a plot of state-owned land in Kiribathgoda to a private party by forging documents.

Accordingly, the former State Minister surrendered to the court today (7) after evading arrest for 61 days.
