Train services on the Northern Railway Line have been disrupted following the derailment of a train at Pothuhera Railway Station.

The train was travelling from Polgahawela to Maho when it derailed, according to the Department of Railways.

Due to the obstruction, trains operating beyond Pothuhera Railway Station are expected to be delayed.
