The Welfare Benefits Board has requested all ‘Aswesuma’ Phase 2 beneficiaries to open bank accounts without delay to receive their financial assistance.

According to the Board, the list of selected beneficiaries has been displayed at all Divisional Secretariats. 

Those without bank accounts can obtain an official letter from their Divisional Secretariat to open an ‘Aswesuma’ welfare benefits account at the People’s Bank, NSB, Bank of Ceylon, or Regional Development Bank.

Beneficiaries are urged to submit their bank details to their respective Divisional Secretariats as soon as possible to ensure timely payment.
