Leaders of six Tamil-speaking political parties have requested a meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to discuss issues affecting Tamil-speaking communities.

The parties ACMC, CWC, DTNA, ITAK, SLMC and TPA agreed to work together on matters where they share common ground while retaining their individual political identities and policies.
