Health authorities have launched a three-day dengue prevention programme from 24 to 26 June across six high-risk provinces as dengue cases continue to rise.
According to the National Dengue Control Unit, 48,287 dengue cases have been reported so far this year, including 14,446 cases in June.
The Western Province remains the worst-affected, accounting for over 52% of all reported infections, while health officials have also warned of a rise in Chikungunya cases.
