The Sri Lanka Navy conducted a shipwreck expedition off Colombo from March 10-25, surveying historic wrecks like SS Worcestershire and SS Perseus. 

Accordingly, the mission, involving 29 divers, documented shipwrecks' conditions and highlighted their role as artificial reefs. 

The effort supports maritime heritage preservation and tourism under the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative.
