Three suspects have been arrested in two separate Police operations that led to the seizure of more than 2.6kg of crystal methamphetamine (‘Ice’).

Two suspects were arrested after officers intercepted a car on the Southern Expressway, while another suspect was arrested in the Wellawatte Police Division by the Police Narcotics Bureau.

Police said investigations are continuing by Thihagoda Police and the Police Narcotics Bureau.
