Police has announced a special traffic plan for the annual Urawatta Gangarama Perahera in Ambalangoda, which will be held from 2.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. tomorrow (20).

The procession will travel along the Galle–Colombo main road, prompting temporary traffic diversions in the area during the event.

Police have advised motorists, particularly those travelling from Colombo to Galle, to use the designated alternative routes and follow traffic instructions to minimise congestion.
