Public Health Inspector (PHI) Union President Upul Rohana stated there's no legal mask mandate, but vulnerable individuals may wear masks to reduce COVID-19 exposure. 

While ruling out mass PCR testing, he urged the public to follow safety practices, especially as global cases, including in India, show an upward trend.
