The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has confirmed there is no risk to pilgrims using the Sri Pada Hatton route.

NBRO officials informed Sri Pada Custodian Venerable Dorapane Sumanajothi Thero that the Mahagiridamba area is now safe following restoration work.

Pilgrims can access Sri Pada via the Hatton route without restrictions, the NBRO stated.
