Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the United States, Mahinda Samarasinghe, held a key diplomatic meeting with Congressman Gregory W. Meeks in Washington, D.C. Congressman Meeks is a Ranking Member of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee.

During the meeting, Ambassador Samarasinghe provided an update on recent political, economic, and social developments in Sri Lanka. 

The two officials engaged in a constructive dialogue, highlighting the importance of ongoing communication between the two countries.
