Former MP Ajith Mannapperuma has withdrawn from the upcoming general elections and resigned from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).

During a press conference, he cited his removal as the SJB chief organiser for Gampaha as the reason, expressing disappointment with party leader Sajith Premadasa.

Mannapperuma urged voters not to support him, highlighting his frustration over the appointment of a UNP affiliate to his former role.
