The Australian government will provide AUD 1 million to support Sri Lanka’s relief efforts following Cyclone Ditwah.
The funding will assist humanitarian partners, UN agencies, and NGOs in delivering urgent aid, prioritizing vulnerable groups such as women, girls, and people with disabilities.
Australia is also redirecting existing funds and activating regional response initiatives, including the UNFPA-managed Regional Prepositioning Initiative, to meet immediate health and protection needs.
